Sun Country Highway Channel Port-Aux-Basques stop - St. Christopher's Hotel, NL
Sun Country Highway expands its FREE public access electric vehicle (EV) charging network along the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the TCH and the 100th Anniversary of the first “Motor Car Tour Across Canada” by Thomas Wilby in 1912.
Sun Country Highway has just built a network of electric vehicle charging stations that will allow electric vehicle owners to travel clear across Canada for FREE and with ZERO emissions. This entire project was done without the use of any tax payer money in an effort to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles, help lower carbon emissions and create green jobs across Canada.
We expect to wrap up the 10,000 tour by Dec 20-21st in Victoria, BC. For more info see us on Facebook or at www.suncountryhighway.ca

(continuation)married to Martha Fudge, they had 6 children. My second generation Grandfather,Jeremiah Meade was married to Eva Beatrice Keeping, they had 6 children. My Grandfather,George Angus Meade was married to Blanche Margaret Baker, who had 3 children,my mother,June Margaret Meade, her sister,Pearl May Meade and brother,Ronald George Meade.I can go on and on with dates etc..,but would be too much.I just wanted to pass along this info to see if there are any relatives that are still out there. Before we did come to Nfld,I was in touch with a Holly Keeping, who was investigating alot of the burial sites with a(retired school teacher I believe)to try and trace the history of Burnt Islands.Anyways enough for now as mentioned I could go on and on...Great to see Burnt Islands has a one way street,as we found out and were told to go the other way!!Also great to see Burnt Islands has there own web site!!!

He was born on Dec.25th,1820 and buried on Aug.28th,1882.He was married to a woman by the last name of Hannah, they had 3 children. My third generation Grandfather,John Meade(fisherman by trade, came to N.S.in the 1920's and lived on Creighton Street across from the Joseph Howe School and was a janitor & is now buried at Camp Hill Cemetery) was
