The one ton pickup prototype with number plate of FXC80C is in my possession. It has been garage kept its whole life and runs and drives perfectly.

Johan - I would be very interested to know more about your 1-Ton and add it to the register, could you send an email perhaps?

I used to work at Kennings Welsh Harp in the early 80s until they closed in 84. I remember seeing the Landy parked outside the front of the building, near the petrol pumps.

Hi everybody.

I just bought the 22300039G. It is a series 2a with a 6 cylinder engine.
We think it is a 1971, but it was registred in 1973 in Norway.

Anybody that can confirm it is a 1971 ?

Thanks. I keep in touch :-)

26600001a was not registered by the rover company when new, it. was a breakdown truck and as such ran on trade plates. It. was given a Q prefix reg in 1988 when the law changed to require breakdown trucks to have their own registration. Steve Graham then got an age-related plate when he restored the vehicle. The j suffix is what DVLA gave him. The truck is NOT a IIA, look at the Dashboard. The IIA type door hinges were factory fitted to some early series IIIs, there is plenty of evidence to support that fact.
